Introduction

Michael Fistick (my daddy) was the greatest person to know. He was such an awesome dad and grandfather; all his grandkids had so much fun with him, and learned so much from him. He was someone that got along with everyone; he never had a bad thing to say about anybody. Michael worked hard to support his family, but also managed to make time to coach our sports teams and made sure that we had family night every Friday. On some weekends he got together with friends and played bass in their band. He was a ZZ Top fanatic. So much that I know every word to every song! He loved music in general, and loved to embarrass his kids by doing goofy dances! I now use some of those dances to embarrass my own kids! My dad was my best friend, even through my teenage years! He was never disappointed in any of us, even when we did something wrong; rather, he supported us, and let us know that he was there no matter what. He had turned 54 yrs old just a week before he passed, and even though it has been 5 yrs, I still think about him in everything I do, and cry because he was such a beautiful person, and I am sad that no one else will get to know him the way we did. Also, we cannot forget...he was a huge baseball and football fan! Spent a lot of my childhood at San Francisco Giants games! Go Niners! Go Giants! There is just way too much good to tell about him, but I hope everyone who reads this sees that he deserves to be missed and loved. We love you Papa! Wish you were here!
