Michelle (Vislusky) Tentylo-Mika was born on April 17, 1955 in Shenandoah, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania United States to Ronald J Vislusky and Anna M. Vislusky, and had siblings Denise Lazar, Celeste P Bybel, and Ronald B. Vislusky. She was in a relationship with Dennis M Mika, and had children Steven Tentylo and Amy Tentylo Quick. Michelle Tentylo-Mika died at age 61 years old on January 5, 2017, and was buried in January 2017 at Sky-View Memorial Park 108 Lafayette Ave, in Tamaqua.

Introduction

Michelle died from Lung Cancer. She had quit smoking 9 years prior. Her 2nd Husband Dennis Mika died from Pancreatic Cancer in 2004 at age 51. Michelle worked in the sewing factories in the Summit Hill and Coaldale area for a few years. then went to Empire Beauty School and opened her own Hair Salon in Coaldale. Unfortunate that did not last being a small town she just did not get enough business. She eventually became a waitress for two restaurants. One in Coaldale and one in Nesquehoning. She divorced from her first husband and her and Dennis Mika built a home in Tamaqua. There she started selling on Ebay QVC and HSN products until months before she died. Her last few weeks she stayed with her daughter Amy and grandaughter Olivia whom she adored.

While Michelle got to know her grandfather John Molokach in William Penn. as a young girl. After he died, she spent a great deal of time with her Grandmother Clara Vislusky who lived in Pattersonville just down the road from her family home.

Professional Career

Michelle learned to make money very early in life and got a job in her early teens with a farm in Ringtown,Pa. She house cleaned, drove a tractor and went to Mahanoy City,Pa with the Farmers to sell their produce. She told the story to a sibling how she enjoyed going to market and meeting people. She also worked the farm fields in Pattersonville with her younger sister and picked Potatoes by hand for 10 cents a basket. When she was in high school at North Schuylkill she attended the Vo Tech program for Food Services. She utilized this schooling and got a summer job at an Ice Cream stand called Tasty Freeze in Shenadoah,Pa. The Stand still exists. When she moved to Lansford she got a part time job in high school at a Data Processing Company. Her last, and longest job was selling on Ebay. She was very successful in this profession.
Personal Life & Family

Michelle was talented in Ceramics, painting Paysanky eggs and making large Ribbon bows which she first sold on Ebay.
