Mildred was married to my Father in law.. and just after their marriage in 1967 they came to Atlanta to visit us.. She was married to William Henry Redditt Sr.. I was married to his Jr. We married September 2, 1967 in Bowdon Jct. Ga.. We lived in Atlanta.. Mildred had two sons who she worshiped.. Graham Mills Jr..was killed in Action in Viet Nam in April, 1968..She never got over his death.. the other son Alton Mills lived nearby in Portsmouth, Va. Mildred had a lot of health issues as I recall.. She was a very good cook.. and she liked to talk and she and I got along real well.. I remember once she told me that she was on an errand to get her husband some Ice cream at the grocery store..she had left him at home watching wrestling.. when she came out of the store she was robbed of her purse,and her ice cream,.She had no way to get home as the thief took her car keys.. a lady at the store gave her money to call "Henry" to come to the store with some more keys and he did not come till the wrestling was over which was a long wait for her.. My husband was very much like his dad. She was crazy about her granddaughters..seems I remember two of them with red hair.. I have not seen any of them since my FIL died in April 1982. We did not go back to Va. after that and I have tried to find her and did not realize what had happened to her.. She was a God fearing woman.. a Mormon by faith and loved the Lord.. I wish I had made pictures of her while visiting with them..
