    Manhattan American (IL) Feb 06, 2003, Page 7 Mildred Walenga Services were held Monday morning for Mildred M. Walenga, 92, of Manhattan, formerly of Harvey and South Holland. Mrs. Walenga died Jan. 30, 2003, at her home. She is survived by a daughter, Catherine (Fred Marolewski) Stelmaszek of Manhattan; a son, James (Emily) Walenga of Palatine; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a sister, Helen Fornera of Steger. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and LuLu (Farrel) Wyre; five brothers, William, Charles, Cecil, Ellis and Leonard Wyre; and two sisters, Mabel Wyre and Dorothy Krajci. The funeral was conducted Feb. 3 at Forsythe Funeral Chapel in Manhattan. Pastor Jim McGuire officiated. Interment was in Holy Cross Cemetery in Calumet City.
