In 1972, Milford, along with his wife Meecedes, petitioned the court of Hardee County for, and granted, adoption of their nephew Robert, son of Mercedes' brother Maurice Froehlich. These two loving, caring, and hard working people raised the child as their own, and that child, now a man in his own right, is pleased to provide what information I can so that anyone else who's looking can know of their love.
