He had siblings Arlene Bliss, Clifford Bliss, Eleanor Bliss, Betsy Bliss, and Myron Bliss. He married Carol Jones, and had children Todd Milon Bliss, Justine Bliss, and Nichole Bliss. Milon Bliss died at age 72 years old on July 2, 2013 in Allentown, PA, and was buried at Cremation.

Roosevelt running for a third term was controversial. But the U.S. was emerging from the Great Recession and he promised that he would not involve the country in any foreign war (which of course changed when Japan bombed Pearl Harbor).
