    Mina Terzian, age 98, of Hackensack, New Jersey sadly passed away on February 15, 1992 after a long life well lived. Born in Armenia on January 30, 1894 Mina married her loving husband Hagop in 1912. They had two children eventually turning into many grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well. Mina was predeceased by her husband Hagop Terzian and son-in-law Joseph Basralian. She is survived by her children Evelyn Basralian and Lawrence Terzian, grandchildren Peter Basralian (Monica), Joseph Basralian (Jackie), Evelyn Ambrose (Robert), Karen Topjian (Joe), Gary Basralian (Theresa), and Kevin Basralian (Louise), and 13 great-grandchildren.

In 1894, in the year that Mina Terzian was born, on March 12th, for the first time, Coca-Cola was sold in individual bottles as a drink for consumer consumption. Previously, it was sold as a syrup for upset stomachs - over the counter.

In 1937, Mina was 43 years old when on May 6th, the German zeppelin the Hindenburg caught fire and blew up. The Hindenburg was a passenger ship traveling to Frankfurt Germany. It tried to dock in New Jersey, one of the stops, and something went wrong - it blew up. Thirty-six people were killed out of the 97 on board - 13 passengers, 22 crewmen, and one ground worker. The reasons for the explosion are still disputed.
