Minerva Kidd was born in June 1842 in North Carolina United States to George Kidd and Mary (McCaliap) Kidd, and had siblings Newton Gaston Kidd, Demarcus Lafayette Kidd, Thomas H. Kidd, Mary Elizabeth Kidd, Tandy Kidd, Robert G. Kidd, Lucinda Kidd, and Martha Jean Kidd. Minerva Kidd died at age 50 years old in 1892.
