Minnie Howcroft (Regester) Newport of Richmond Australia was born in 1873 in Richmond to Sarah Ann Taylor Regester and Edward Addison Regester. She had siblings Eva Addison Register, Thomas Edward Regester, Charles Lynn Regester, and William Henry Regester. She was the mother of Charlotte Ann Newport and Ruby May Newport. Minnie Newport died at age 95 years old in 1968 in Upper Ferntree Gully, VIC.
