    Obituary Pantagraph Former Fairbury woman, Mona L. Walston, 62, dies The funeral of Mona L. Walston, 62 of 32 Southgate Estates, Bloomington formerly of Fairbury, was at 11:a.m. Tuesday at Metzler-Frolich Memorial home Bloomington, Rev. Gary D. York officiated. Burial was in Hinthorne cemetery, Lake Bloomington. Mrs. Walston died at 7:24 p.m. Friday, Nov. 14, 1986 at Mennonite hospital. She was born Jan. 6, 1924 at Fairbury a daughter of Lee and Ruth Miller Waples. She married Don Maier. She later married Lloyd Walston Aug. 16, 1963 in Lacon. He survives. Also surviving are three sons, Dennis Maier, Mobil-Land Mobil Home Court, Bloomington; John Maier, Bloomington; and Patrick Walston, Memphis Tenn.; a daughter, Karen Maier, Decatur and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister. Mrs. Walston was a member of Fairbury United Methodist church and sang in the church choir. Memorials may be made to the Mid-Illinois Hospice unit of Mennonite hospital.
