Married Annie Priscilla Munroe in 1899. They had 3 children. Remarried Ada Hesse and had further 3 children. His son from his first marriage, died in 1927 from war injuries, his 2 daughters and his first wife died from t.b. His other two children were Dorothy and Ken. They both married and had children of their own.
