He also had a half sister, Ida Abrahams (1900-2998). He married Helen Mardiks (1919-2004) on either July 19, 1943 or August 22, 1943 in Jackson, Missouri, USA. Morris A Kanter passed away on July 26, 1984 and is buried at the Mount Carmel Cemetery in Raytown, Jackson County, Missouri, United States of America.
