Moses J Fornshell was a postal worker in the 1860 census of Saline Co Mo. He 'married' -- maybe Sophia Thornton, da of Miller Thornton and his wife ---
they had a daughter named Martha Ellen Fornshell who married Lynch -- I have records....Moses joined both the Union army first then the confederate army second and went awol from both, then joined Quantrill's raiders. Then by 1870 he is in the Indiana State prison South, where he again excapes, Dec `` 1871, returned June 25 1893...He lived under the assumed name of Charles Morgan. Please help me find out more about him
