    CLINTON — Murton A. Genung died this morning in the Lutheran Home in Clinton. A resident of the area most of his life, he was born April 30, 1879, and was a retired farmer and oil field employe. He is survived by eight children. They are: DeForest Genung of Haywood, Calif.; Melvin Genung, Mrs. Rodney (Ruth) Wheeler, and Mrs. Frank (Mima) Bur dick, all of Orlando, Fla.; Arthur Genung of Clinton; Mrs. LaRue (Irene) Pelton of Schenectady; Mrs. Alois (Katherine) Schiesel of Wachung, N.J.; and Mrs. Cecil (Sabra) Mason of Corning. Also surviving him are a sister, Mrs. Agnes Cole of Bolivar, and several grandchildren. Funeral services for Lloyd J. Swarthout will be held tomorrow at 1 p.m. in the Embser Funeral Home where friends may call this afternoon until 4 and tonight from 7-9. The Rev. Elmer Krentz will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Wellsville.
