  • Introduction

    Myron Milch was born in Newark, New Jersey in February, 1945. His parents are Norman Milch and Lillian Bloom Milch. He has one sister, Sharon Milch Slavitt, and 4 children, Ben Milch, Nicole Milch, Haley Milch, and Jason Proskurin. Myron went to college at the University of Pennsylvania and to law school at Rutgers Law School, in Newark. He practiced law in New Jersey from 1972 until he retired in 2015. He lives in Boynton Beach, FL, with his wife, Randy Stone Milch. On his father’s side, Myron had an uncle, Alexander Milch, who died in 1998, and an aunt, Evelyn Milch Delaney, who died in 1932. Myron’s grandfather, Sam Milch, died in 1926 at age 42. Sam Milch who was born in what is now Lvov, Ukraine, was one of the oldest of 18 children. He had a brother, David Milch, who emigrated to Argentina, and then, later to the US, and a sister, Mollie Milch Boretz, who emigrated to NYC. David had a son, Mario Milch, MD, who lives in LA. Mario has 2 daughters, Ilana Milch and Tara Milch. Mollie Boretz had a son, Alvin. Another of Sam Milch’s brothers, name unknown, emigrated to Buffalo, NY. That brother, in turn, had a son, Elmer Milch, MD, who married Mollie Pies Milch; and they, together, had 2 sons, David Milch and Robert Milch, MD. David Milch has a daughter, Olivia Milch. On his mother’s side, Myron, had 3 aunts— Dorothy Bloom Prager, who married Seymour Prager. They adopted Jeffrey. Next in age was Adele Bloom Schenkman, who married Joseph Schenkman. They had 2 sons, Robert and Richard Schenkman. Myron’s youngest aunt, Muriel Bloom Landau, married Richard Landau , DDS, and they had 2 children, Eric and Michael Landau. Myron has a sister, Sharon Milch Slavitt, who lives in Florida. She has 3 children, David Slavitt, Adam Slavitt and Danielle Greenwald.
