The Day our Family changed for ever: This is a in a nut shell of what went on, the evening of August 8th Frank received a call from a neighboring rancher that they had a cow and a calf that belonged to him. on August 9th 1965 Frank rode to a neighbors to retrieve a cow and calf that was over there in a waterless corral (draught year) he was in the corral fixing to move the cow when the neighbor started accusing him of stuff the neighbor pulled a gun Frank said you will never get away with this and the other person said "this is a wetback shooting you" (as Stated in court trans script) Frank turned and he was shot in the back. It lodged in his spine paralizing him from the armpits down. Frnk spent alot of time in the hospital He died 9&1/2 yrs laters. I was not even a year old when he was shot and 10 1/2 when he died. The years after his shooting where most of the time was a nightmare, not knowing what was going to happen. There is SO much more, but no room to write it,
