Nancy Dover Price, 70, of Lawndale, died Monday, November 7, 2011 at Hospice at Wendover in Shelby. Nancy was born in Cleveland County on September 16, 1941, to the late Benjamin Andrew Dover and Lou Vonie Holcomb Dover. She was retired from Doran Mills and was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Darro Paul Price; three brothers, Johnny Dover, Earl Smith, and Gene Smith; and two great grandchildren. She is survived by three sons, Benny Price and wife Sandy of Shelby, Timmy Price and wife Kay of Cherryville, and Tommy Price and wife Paula of Lawndale; four brothers, Ken Dover of Blacksburg, Martin Dover of Shelby, Donald Dover of Grover and Bob Dover of Grover; three sisters Nell Smith, Nita Whitworth and Linda Bowen all of Grover; 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Visitation, 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm, Wednesday, Stamey Funeral Home, Fallston. Funeral Services, 1:00 PM, Thursday, New Bethel Baptist Church, Lawndale. The body will be placed in the church 30 minutes before the service. Officiating, Rev. Jason Allen, Rev. Jack Waters, Rev. Clayton Hudson. Burial, New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, Lawndale. Memorials may be made to Stamey Funeral Home, PO Box 639, Fallston, NC 28042, to help with funeral expenses.ADVERTISEMENT BYLooking for more information?
