They were both born in Germany and immigrated to the United States in the 1880's.

She married John on July 27, 1951 and raised their family in Sioux Falls, SD. She passed away on July 31, 2010 in Minneapolis, Hennepin, Minnesota. On February 14, 1999 Nathan married Linda M Rosati (1972-) in Colorado.
