Nevette Henry McSwain was an excellent musician and singer. He was especially good at singing and playing a 12 string acoustic guitar on the popular Bon Jovi song "Wanted Dead or Alive". I first meet Nevette in Tyler, Texas at Sharkey's Sports Bar and Grill back in 1995, when "Grant Cook and the Starving Artist Band" hosted the Tuesday Open Mic Night. The band also hosted Friday Open Mic nights at Armadillo Willies on Loop 323 in Tyler. Nevette was also an excellent Professional High Diver in his 20's. He toured the USA entertaining crowds with his acrobatic high diving skills into pools around the country. I know Nevette had fallen into some hard times in his life and he had gotten himself into trouble with the law a few times. However, this did not make Nevette a bad person, he was actually a very good man that had unfortunately made a few mistakes. I hope and pray that Nevette knew the love and forgiveness that Jesus Christ has to offer us all. I pray that God had mercy on his soul. RIP Brother. Respectfully, Tim Elmore, RN
