Newton Talmadge McElmon 1879 - 1962

Newton Talmadge McElmon was born in 1879 in Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality County, NS Canada to Amarilla J. (Elliott) McElmon and John Noble McElmon, and had siblings John Howe McElmon, Elledge Havelock McElmon, and Catherine (McElmon) Langille. He married Laura Margaret McElmon in 1901 in Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality County, Nova Scotia, and had children Sadie (McElmon) Crowell, Carl Henry McElmon, Naomi Hilda Tudor, Charles Newton McElmon, and Lillian Nellis. Newton McElmon died at age 82 years old in June 1962 in Johnstown, Fulton County, New York United States, and was buried at Evergreen Cemetery 296 Martin Rd, in Fonda, Montgomery County.
