He married Katherine M Polisson on May 6, 1934, and they were married until Nicholas' death on August 7, 1981. He had children Nicholas E Polisson, Jr, James C Polisson, Mary M (Polisson) Zaehring, and George L Polisson. Nicholas Polisson was buried at Memory Lane Memorial Park and Funeral Chapel 6305 W Lincoln Hwy, in Crown Point.
