    The following appeared in the Poughkeepsie Journal on Monday November 3rd 1973: Nicholas Russett Nicholas H. Russett, 85, of 18 Rothenberg Road, Town of LaGrange, died Sunday at Vassar Hospital. He was born in Callicoon, March 24, 1890, the son of Nicholas and Catherine (Trainer) Russett. He retired in 1957 from the American Standard Co., New Jersey, where he was employed as a stationary engineer. A Poughkeepsie resident since his retirement, he was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Florentine Council, Poughkeepsie, and a communicant of Holy Trinity Church. In addition to his wife, the former Elizabeth McCarthy, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Thomas Bocchino and Mrs. Lillian Bernhard, both of Poughkeepsie; three sons, William, Bayonne, N.J.: Vincent, Staten Island, and James, Waretown, N.J.; 20 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the Mulvey Funeral Home, 211 Mansion St., Tuesday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Members of the Knights of Columbus will conduct services Tuesday at 8 o'clock. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Trinity Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery.
