Nicolas was divorced 3 times. He was married 4 times. He married Rhonda Watson in Dallas, TX in 2002, that divorce was final early in 2003 on the grounds of mental cruelty in Fort Worth. She divorced him as did his second wife. His then boss at HUD (also a minister) officiated.
