He had siblings Isaac O'Blanc, Adam O'Blanc, Eva Jane (O'Blanc) Lognion, Lazeme O'Blanc, Amy (O'Blanc) Robideaux, Amelia (O'Blanc) Borne, Lezay LeBlanc, Lora (O'Blanc) Mallett LeJuene, Ezora (O'Blanc) Bellard, and Dora (O'Blanc) Bellard. He married Ella (Mallett) O'Blance on July 13, 1937, and had children JB O'Blance, Eva Louise (O'Blance) Deshotel, Betty Jean (O'Blance) LeDoux, JC O'Blance, Willis Charles O'Blanc, Anna Grace (O'Blance) Abshire, Linda Faye (O'Blance) Rose, Nelda Faye (O'Blance) Abshire, Beverly Nell (O'Blance) Barron, Alcide Adam O'Blance, Yvonne Marie (O'Blance) Doucet, and Nolia Ann (O'Blance) Doucet. Noah O'Blance died at age 80 years old on February 12, 1997.

    Funeral services for Noah O'Blance, 80, will be at 3*30 p.m. today, Feb.14, from Our Lady of Seven Dolors Catholic Church.The Rev. Herbert May will officiate. Burial will be in Broussard Cemetery in Lacassine under direction of Hixson Funeral Home. Visitation is from 8 a.m. A rosary was said Thursday. Mr. O'Blance died at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 12, 1997, in his residence. A native of Bell City and a resident of the Sweetlake area for 50 years, he was retired from Sweetlake Land and Oil and was a member of St.Patrick Catholic Church in Sweetlake. Survivors are his wife, Ella O'Blance; two sons, J.C. O'Blance of Lacassine and Willis O'Blance of Elton; nine daughters, Mrs. J.B. (Tony) O'Blance of Basile, Eva Deshotel and Yvonne Broussard, both of Hayes, Betty LeDoux of Big Lake, Anna Grace LaBauve of Elton, Llinda Rose of Bridge City, Texas, Nelda Abshire of Sweetlake, and Beverly Barron and Nolia Doucet, both of- Lake Charles; two sisters Dora Bellard of Welsh and Lora LeJeune of Cameron; one brother, Lenes "Lezay" LeBlanc of Oklahoma City; 33 grandchildren; 61 great grandchildren; and 61 great-greatgrandchildren.
