All Rights Reserved Nolan Curtis Branscum, 75, of Mountain View, father of Sandra Hegi of Conway, died Thursday (Sept. 9, 1999) at McClellan Veterans Hospital. Born Sept. 19, 1923, at Fox (Stone County), a son of the late Clarence and Lula Holland Branscum, he was a retired veteran of the Air Force, a former employee of Ward Bus Manufacturing Co. and a Baptist. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Oral Branscum, Trevor Branscum and Elson Branscum, and two sisters, Nadine Bonds and Lorene Rolen. Other survivors are three other daughters, Anna Livingston of Heber Springs, Barbara Hopkins of North Little Rock and Karen Graham of Houston, Texas; six brothers, Sharon Branscum of Mountain View, Scotty Branscum and Darrell Branscum, both of Fox, Charles Branscum of Chicago, Dewayne Branscum of Cabot and Dewell Branscum of Greenbrier; two sisters, Kathelene Callahan of Mountain View and Imogene Bunch of Rockford, Ill.; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services were today at Fox Bethlehem General Baptist Church with John Matthews officiating. Burial was in Fox Cemetery with full military honors by Roller-Coffman Funeral Home. Pallbearers were the Air Force Honor Guard from Little Rock Air Force Base. Grandchildren served as honorary pallbearers.
