Norman Davidow was born to Louis David Davidow (1892 - 1968) and Grace Silverstein (1894 - 1987). His father was born in Russia and his mother was also born in Russia. He was described as being 5 feet 11 inches tall and as weighing 150 pounds. Norman had brown eyes, brown hair, and a "dark" complexion. By the time that he was 32 years old, he was a manager in the laundry industry, living in Samford, Connecticut.
