Ogden P Confer's father was Ogden Armour Confer. He had siblings Mary and Ruth. When Ogden was 20, he was living in Minneapolis and working at the School of Business, part time. He was described as being 6 feet tall, weighed 195 pounds, had blue eyes and light brown hair, with a "light" complexion. He had a scar on his spine. Ogden married Elizabeth Anna (McElhenny) Confer on December 20, 1941 in Minneapolis Minnesota, and they had children Ogden, Richar, Carol, and Kay Confer. Ogden P Confer was in the United States Army from April of 1943 until April of 1946. He was a World War II veteran. After World War II, Ogden and Elizabeth lived in North Mankato, Minnesota, with their two children. Ogden was working in advertising for a milling company.
