I think he was born in New Hampshire.

I worked for Oliver. I never heard him mention college.

Not at all. He was a communist but had no respect for Stalin or Lenin.

Oliver was a master builder. He did mostly residential construction.

Oliver was long married to Barbara Chase. They had one son, Richard who worked with Oliver for a long time and now lives in Florida. Oliver was a communist and may once have been in the party. But when I worked for him 1968 to 1972 he was not in the party and considered Stalin a criminal.
