Quasqueton, IA.-Miss Ona Bender, Quasqueton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Art Bender, and Earnest Kress, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Kress, were united in marriage Sunday at Quasqueton in the home the justice of the peace, Marshall Adams. The couple was attended by Leonard Kress, brother of the groom, and Miss Adeline Schmitz, Walker, Ia. The bride was attired in a blue acetate crepe dress with accessories to match. Mrs. Kress graduated from Quasqueton High School in 1933. She is employed at present in the Matteson cafe at Rowley, Mr. Kress is employed at the Oelwein creamery. Miss Marie Kress, Independence, entertained at dinner Sunday at the home of her parents in honor of Miss- Ona Bender, Quasqueton, and Miss Adeline Schmitz, Walker and her brothers. Leonard Kress, Cedar Rapids, and Earnest Kress, Quasqueton. At this time the announcement of the marriage of Mr. and Mrs. Earnest Kress was made.
