Orrie was my dearly beloved grandfather. He taught me to read before I went to kindergarten. The two of us would walk to town for a movie, ice cream sundae, & shopping at the "dime" store.He loved gardening and playing dominos.He was a devoted husband and father. His wife (my grandmother) was Mary Belle Fuller Purvis. Their only child, my mother, is Mary Elizabeth Purvis Ellis.
