Oscar was my step grandfather and was a very sweet gentle caring man. He had a very southern drawl and when we would leave he would say yall come back now. In the last year of his wife Ruth's life he would go to the nursing home 2 times a day to try to get her to eat. Such a devoted husband he would do anything for her.
