Ovey Alexander Mouton was born on July 10th, 1916 to Adam Mouton (1884 - 1938( and Olive Badon (1886 - 1968). He had siblings Ulysses, Dudly, Abel, Antoine, and Eucharist "Plunie" Mouton. Ovey Mouton married Corinne Labbe (1913 - 2006). They had one daughter, Lynn Mouton. Ovey was a Sergeant in Company A, 126th Infantry in the United States Army during World War II. He is on the list of dead and missing for the Army and the Army Air Forces. Ovey died at the age of 28 from wounds received in the fighting in Luzon, Philippines during World War II. SERVICES FOR SGT. O. MOUTON TO BE WEDNESDAY Services for Sgt. Ovey Mouton who was killed in action will be held on Wenesday morning at 8:00 at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist. Sgt. Mouton died of wounds received in the figthting at Luzon on April 7.
