    Owen Stephen "Steve" Adjutant was born on September 1, 1922 in Wolfeboro Twp, Carroll County, NH to parents Ethel Mae Ayers (1882-1958) and Wilbur Sidney Adjutant (1884-1941). At the age of 22, registered for the military on January 13, 1945, in New Hampshire. Owen resided in North Conway, Carroll, New Hampshire, and was employed by L A Johnson. On December 5, 1940, he enlisted in Manchester, New Hampshire, with the service number 11014849. Owen served in the Air Corps branch of the Regular Army, which included officers, nurses, warrant officers, and enlisted men. Owen served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Sergeant and was discharged on October 24, 1944. In 1980, he married Drexel Keener Collins Adjutant (1909-1994), a payroll accountant and desk manager for several casinos in Reno.

    Owen Stephen Adjutant was born September 1, 1922 in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, the son of Wilbur Sidney Adjutant and Ethel Mae Ayers. He came to Nevada in 1952 from New Hampshire, and was a member of the Fallon VFW, the Sparks Elks Lodge, and the local Carptener's Union #971. He served in the US Army during World War II. Survivors included a widow, Drexel of Sparks; a son, John of Chico, California; and a brother, Richard House of Wolfeboro.
