Ozie Ryals died at age 51 years old on August 7, 1972, and was buried at Long Island National Cemetery Section 2T Site 1149 2040 Wellwood Avenue, in Farmingdale, Ny.

    Ozie Bee Ryals, Sr.was born July 4, 1921 to Roxie Ward Ryals and David Ryals. The family moved to Jersey City NJ in or about 1942. Ozie Bee met and married Laura Agazine Ryals in Newark NJ. They settled in Jersey City NJ where they raised their eight children: Patricia Bee, Priscilla Anne, Ozie Bee, Jr., Jerome Bee, Brenda Martha, Roxanne Marie, Arlene Mary and Richard Edward. Ozie Bee was predeceased in death by his parents David and Roxie and left to mourn his wife Laura A. Harrison, eight children and siblings: Glasgow Ryals, Sr., Emma Belle Ryals, Archie Lee Ryals, Bobbie Lee Wiggs and Otis Ryals, Sr. Ozie Bee also left behind nieces, nephews, friends and in-laws: Marion and Percy Yates, Sr., Doris and Calvin Lockhart, Sr., Anna and Bunch Trott, Florence and Thomas Harrison, Sr., Rose and Van Buren Harrison, Jr., Estelle and John Harrison, Sr., Joan and Mandy DeBose, Stella and William Griffin, Sr. Ozie Bee wasva voracious reader and avid fisherman. May he rest in peace, power and love forever.
