Patrick served in the 703rd Maint Bn of the 3rd Inf Div in Kitzingen, Germany. He was already there when I got to the unit in Oct, 1971 and ETS'd in either Oct or Nov, 1973. He was one of my best friends while I was there. He and I shard the same MOS, 45B, and went to the field together in the same shop van every time we were needed on the ranges. We would spend 4 1/2 months (Jan-May) at Graf supporting TCQC for 1972 and again in 1973. We also went to the ranges for months other times at other training sites, Hohenfels and Wildflecken. We would spend at least a month supporting on the ranges for crew served weapons, such as the M60, M2HB, and mortar Live fires. We also supported REFORGER
