Grandpa Drska was extraordinary. I met him in 1972 before his granddaughter, my bride, and I married on August 18, 1973. I loved him from the moment I met him.
He lived next door to us for 12 years after we built our home on property that he and Grandma owned. She was incredibly generous and loved her family dearly. She welcomed both of our children into the world and loved both of her great-grandchildren. Unfortunately, she died at age 90 in 1981.
His step-daughter, Anna Kuba, allowed him to stay in the home she inherited from her mother because she helped him with domestic tasks until he passed away. She was the most extraordinary of all. She was very kind to all. We will never forget her.
