Pauline Amelia (Duelm) Strey's History: 1900 - 1970

Uncover new discoveries and connections today by sharing about people & moments from yesterday.
  • Introduction

She was born on a farm to Fritz Duelm . I think her mother died during delivery and Fritz married her sister Caroline Duelm. Her sister is Annie Strey and she lived in New Berlin, Texas. The Duelm family lived on a farm in La Vernia or Elm Creek.Pauline married Herbert Paul Strey. The Strey family were also farmers in the same area. This is about 20 miles east of San Antonio, Between Seguin and San Antonio. Other Strey and Duelm relatives had farms nearby. Pauline and Herbert sold the farm in the 1950's and moved to Seguin. They had 5 children; Esther Long, Velma Ida Milam(my mother), Ervin Strey, Evylyn Grein-still living in Seguin, and Nita -still living close to New Berlin. I have a lot more information if anyone is interested.
