Pearl was born May 5, 1935, on Crumhorn Mountain, in a tent, the daughter of Oliver and Nellie Camp McAdams. Pearl married Warren Earl Osterhout on July 17, 1965. They renewed their wedding vows on November 19, 2006, in a beautiful ceremony at River Street Baptist Church which was shared by many family and friends. Pearl and Warren had a farm on Franklin Mountain that they enjoyed working together on for many years. Pearl also worked at the Dress Factory on Dietz Street, owned and operated Mom's Mini Mart on Chestnut Street, Oneonta, NY, Amphenol in Sidney, but enjoyed working along side her son and husband in their family landscaping business. She especially enjoyed working in the greenhouse growing her very large tomato and cucumber plants. Pearl is survived by her husband, Warren, three children, Bonnie McAdams, David Osterhout and wife Tish, and Emily May Dutcher and her companion Jerry Brown; 8 grandchildren, Nick, Ariel, Laura, Debbie, Shelly, Joe, Bobby and Melissa; 9 great-grandchildren; brothers, Jim and wife Betty McAdams, Ollie and wife Maria McAdams and sister Jean Johnson; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Calling hours will be from 5 pm to 8 pm on Wednesday, December 13, 2006 at Lester R. Grummons Funeral Home, Grand Street, Oneonta. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, December 14, 2006 at 11:00 am at River Street Baptist Church with Pastor Mel Farmer officiating. Internment will follow in the Ouleout Cemetery, Franklin, NY. In lieu of flowers the family asks that family and friends make donations to their favorite charity or River Street Baptist Church, Oneonta, NY. Special thanks goes to the kind, caring and very helpful people from Hospice who will forever hold a special place in our hearts, Franklin Emergency Squad and for the many kind thoughts from all of Pearl's friends.
