    Percy Kenward Wood is the son of Dovie Frances Clark (1897-1987) and John Hiram Wood (1877-1964). He was born on April 12, 1933 in Arkansas and had siblings James Hayden (1915-1977), Elmer Wallace (1919-2010), Drury Ellis (1924-2000), and Maxine Glenna Wood (1928--2010). He was raised in Rural, Craighead, Arkansas. He moved to Ackmen, Montezuma, Colorado, USA and was living there in the 1940's and Percy Wood served in the United States Navy from December 14, 1950 until January 20, 1954. Percy married Mollie Jane Weverka (1936-2001) on February 4, 1964 in San Diego, California. They had three children inlcluding a son named Stoney Lee Wood. On November 1, 2000 Percy Wood passed away in Phoenix, Maricopa County, Arizona, USA.
