Introduction

Pete & I both graduated from the University of Southern California (USC). We played tennis together on campus. took some classes together, studied together and most importantly partied together! Pete was a hoot, always made me laugh. Pete's Mom came to L.A. for a trade show (she had a shop in Arizona). She took both Pete & me to the show in downtown L.A. (we had name tags, and I was supposed to pass as Pete's brother). Pete & I found that hilarious, since even though we are both of Italian heritage he was over 6 feet and blond, with me at 5'9" dark hair and olive skin. I still have the two furniture items I purchased at the trade show (a wood ornate chair with Asian detail and a rough wooden stool). Pete also purchased an Asian inspired chair similar to mine, but his had a marble inlaid back). Pete & I reconnected for lunch in Dallas (actually Irving) since we both worked for GTE at the time. As GTE merged with Bell Atlantic, to become Verizon I took a transfer to Southern California and Pete & I lost touch. Thanks for the good memories, Pete. Miss you.
