Peter Blazevich was born on October 24th, 1924 in East Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to Josip "Joseph" Blazevich (1893 - 1968) and Olga Fabyanic (1904 - 1992). His father was born in Austria and his mother was born in Pennsylvania. Olga was also of Austrian heritage. Peter had one brother, George born in 1918, and two sisters, Ann, born in 1920, and Catherine, born in 1926. Peter Blazevich married Lillian O. Haskins, born in 1932, in June of 1952 in Monroeville, Pennsylvania, and they had one son.
