    The Herald Sun. Melbourne. 9th March 2004. GANGE, Peter. Passed away peacefully on Friday March 5, 2004, at Eastern Districts Aged Care Home, Croydon, aged 102. Very loved husband of Miriam ( dec.), father of Peter ( dec.), John ( dec.), and Barry, and dear Grandpa of Gregory, Christopher, Amanda and Richard. GANGE, Peter. Very loved, generous and kind father of Barry and father-in-law of Debbie.

The President who championed a woman's right to vote also created a day in their honor.
