Peter Pedroli, aka"Pietro" was almost surely a youth's friend of my father Giovanni Leonardo Rinoldi, lawyer and school-professor of Tolmezzo,Udine,Italy...it proofing some letter of Peter which I found ;and some reportage about him from my dad.
Peter seemed to be involved in the liquor's business in a certain moment of his, life ;and he liked to smoke (dad said) cigars.
In the letters to my dad he greeted in all letter finishing with the phrase "Cordialmente in Cristo"(=With kind regards in Jesus).
In a photo as young, he looks thin and also so young with not so many headair, and smiling with avery opened and nice smile.
Maybe originary from the Veneto or Emilia Romagna,he knew probably my dad ,about twenty-five years old,(my dad was three years younger) in the Università Cattolica of Milano, and then he left the studyes for to emigrate in USA,where he marry(so at least said his letters, now lost).
Since about the 1959, till about the 1972 -74, Peter and my dad corresponding.
Peter used "self-intested -letter-paper"(carta intestata), very thin and light.
From the letters he seems a very nice and moral person, very extroverted and sympatethic.
I don't resist to read the letters, when my dad passed away, for to know better my dad's personality, sorry.
If the person described results the same to Peter's relatives I will be glad to have some comment from them and to know what' s happened then about Peter.
Best regards and..."Cordialmente in Cristo",as Peter would wrote.
