    The Press, New Zealand. 1957. Navy Telegraphist Dies In Korea. ( New Zealand Press Association ) AUCKLAND, October 31. A young Navy telegraphist from H.M.N.Z.S. Royalist, died in an American evacuation hospital in Korea. He was Peter James Mollison, aged 19, elder son of Mr. and Mrs. C. Million, of Hamilton. He contracted an acute illness affecting the brain and died a day after being landed and admitted to the hospital at Ascom City, Inchon, Korea. He joined the navy in 1953 as a boy entrant. ( The Royalist was scrapped in 1968 Japan )

In 1938, in the year that Peter James Mollison was born, on June 25th (a Saturday) the Fair Labor Standards Act was signed into law by President Roosevelt (along with 120 other bills). The Act banned oppressive child labor, set the minimum hourly wage at 25 cents, and established the maximum workweek at 44 hours. It faced a lot of opposition and in fighting for it, Roosevelt said "Do not let any calamity-howling executive with an income of $1,000 a day, ...tell you...that a wage of $11 a week is going to have a disastrous effect on all American industry."

In 1940, at the age of merely 2 years old, Peter was alive when on July 27th, the cartoon character Bugs Bunny debuted in his first film A Wild Hare - voiced by Mel Blanc. He has since appeared in more short films, feature films, compilations, TV series, music records, comic books, video games, award shows, amusement park rides, and commercials than any other cartoon character. He even has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. "What's up, Doc?"
