Peter Sinclair Lang of Fingal, Break O'Day Council County, TAS Australia was born in 1866 in Matlock, VIC to Alexander Lang and Mary Sinclair Lang. He had siblings Jane Sinclair Alpine Lang, Jessie Gray Lang, Jeanette Annie (Lang) Gerrard, Margaret "Maggie" Lang Haughton, Victoria (Lang) Wickes, Jessie Maud (Lang) Holm, and Alexander Lang. He married Lucy Clair Lang in 1883, and had children Alexander John Thomas Lang, Mary Sinclair (Lang) Graham, Peter Lang, Annie Victoria May (Lang) Hawkey, Lucy Ellen (Lang) Turner, and Margaret Jessie (Lang) Foley. Peter Lang died at age 35 years old on April 9, 1902 in Fingal, TAS.
