He married Nancy Jo (Ditsworth) Nunn on July 22, 1955 at Presbyterian Church in Estherville, Emmet County, and had a child Necia Ann Nunn. Philip Nunn died at age 84 years old in October 2011 in Chisholm, St. Louis County, MN.
