    Phobe Edmond was a slave on the Edmond plantation. Her duties then, according to our oral history, was to care for both Paul and Dottie Edmond. Moreover, she was sold to the Wilson Plantation or family as a birthday present. Phobe had a daughter name Anni who had married Mr. John Lee Wilson. The Wilson family provided him with an education which led him to become a Black Doctor at John Hopkins. Now out of this union. Now, out of this union I would represent the seventh generation.
