Physical Therapy Assistant at Illinois Valley Community Hospital, Peru, Illinois, for twenty years, caregiver for Home Instead Senior Care, Peru, Illinois, for ten years. Member of St. Mary's Church choir, Peru, Illinois, for thirty-five years and the Harmonaires Choir, Illinois Valley Area, for fifteen years. Phyllis retired from her latest job at Home Instead Senior Care in 2018, at age 87. Phyllis is an animal lover and rescuer, and revels in taking care of all animals in need, human and otherwise.
