Introduction

Phyllis Ann Schirmer attended Travis Elementary in Galveston, TX, Lamar Jr. High and Temple High School in Temple Texas. She married William Raymond Dietz on August 26, 1974. They had a son born in 1964 while living in Temple and a daughter born in 1973 in Montgomery, TX. They divorced in 1985 after 21 years of marriage. She married Darwin Earl McKinney on August 25, 1990. They later divorced. Phyllis died of pancreatic cancer Thanksgiving Day - November 27, 2003. She was a loving mother, hard working in order to take care of her children. She was funny and enjoyed laughing with friends and family.
