Phyllis Fay (Not Schuman) Schuman's History: 1927 - circa 2010

Uncover new discoveries and connections today by sharing about people & moments from yesterday.
  • Introduction

Phyllis was the most devoted, caring and loving mom, grandma, wife, daughter, friend, aunt, cousin, relative, psychologist, etc etc that a person could ever have. she was also a humanitarian and loved animals. She was known as simply the best. She also had the most devoted loving, caring, husband that was also a family man as well. (Howard M. Schuman) (her first and only love). When he passed she never remarried cause he was her ONE and ONLY LOVE. His passing was a terrible tragedy, for her/family and friends but she still continued on with her great life until her life was tragically stolen away from her at inland valley hospital in wildamar california. That is why I always list my name as devastated. I have lived in devastation ever since this tragedy happened. When someone's life is taken away the way hers was it is impossible to recover. It would have been difficult enough had it been a natural death, but it was a forced death instead, which has shattered my heart into a million pieces. How can these monsters be so cruel and take this beautiful woman away from us. She never even got to see her great grandchildren that she was so looking forward to being with. Hopefully these monsters will get what they deserve because they did not let Phyllis have what she deserved, her life.

3 Memories, Stories & Photos about Phyllis

Phyllis Fay Schuman
Phyllis Fay Schuman
A photo of Phyllis Fay Schuman: One of her last photos of her cutting down big branches off a tree that needed to be trimmed down. She was always very active with yard work, walking dogs, hiking in the hills, traveling around the world, she was always on the go until her life was stolen. She took such good care of herself with eating extremely healthy and plenty of exercise cause she wanted to live a very long time up to 100 at least. Of all people she could have been the one to make it to 100+ had she never gone to southwest. (the worst hospitals of the world). She would still be here today alive and well had she gone somewhere else cause her problem was very minor and easily treatable with medical staff who would do their work. It is best to go to urgent care or anywhere but southwest health care no matter how minor the problem may be.rancho springs, inland valley, or temecula are all part of southwest There is really only one hospital in the area that is ok as far as I know which is loma linda. Before she went in to this hospital she was fine and had only gone to the hospital once or maybe two times in her lifetime. the sedatives gave her horrible problems. The family had long discussions with the nurses that she could not take these sedative because she had allergic like reactions to them and it was written on her chart and these kind of sedatives were not for people of her age. Actually they are dangerous for everyone. These were given anyway even though she did not ever need a sedative. The very lazy staff did not feel like doing their job so it was easier to knock out patients so they did not have to do anything for their pay. This hospital also gave her a treatable fungal skin infection that was never treated until a good dr at the hemet hospital decided to treat it since it had gone into fungal sepsis, but when she had to come back to southwest they again refused to treat it because of her age and they said that she was dying from a disease that she never ever had. A group of doctors there decided it was not worth it since they did not want to waste medicine on an older person even though this was the medicine that saved her before and she needed to continue it for more than just one day. She was so unbelievably strong that she could have survived it, but not when they made an iv antibiotic her only treatment, That is not something that you want to give to someone who has a fungal sepsis. It would be like giving a woman with a yeast infection a very powerful antibiotics to treat it the only difference is is that yeast infections are not that bad of an infection Those cold hearted killers (the medical staff) just needed her gone. If anyone could have survived that treatment it would have been her but not even the strongest person in the world could have survived that kind of deadly treatment. I am still flaming red hot mad after what they put her thru and it has been right around four years. These very horrible evil monsters have reeked havoc on family/friends of Phyllis and of course Phyllis. They have forever devastated family and friends of this dear lady. I'm sure they will eventually pay for it one day in one way or another.

If the staff had done their job the best that they could have and they sincerely had an accident that is one thing but what they did to her over and over again was no accident. There is enough evidence that shows the horrible treatment that she got was no accident and knowing this, is what has shattered my heart and terrified me. HOW CAN THIS BE OK. HOW CAN the people who loved her so much be expected to live in so much pain most likely indefinitely because of knowing her life had to end at the hands of staff who were fine with taking her life. It is an extra difficult situation since the ones who took her life are supposed to be there to not TAKE LIVES,but simply do everything that they can possible to save lives, unfortunately the staff that was with her did not believe in letting her live. It was just easier to take her life and the opposite of what staff are supposed to do. I would not be ok with myself if I did half of what they did. Someone elses life means nothing to them, so tragically sad.

She should have never been killed and the way she was killed was so horrible. Stay away from southwest hospitals cause they are all bad in the murrieta and wildamar and now there is a new one in temecula, ca very dangerous and scary hospitals. hemet had at least one good doctor, but like the other two hospitals they use very deadly sedatives even if the person has a bad reaction to them and are not supposed to have them and even if the patient does not need them. They have to use these very deadly sedatives so the staff will not have to do their jobs. They want all the patients knocked out so they will not have to do anything with them and if they die from them it is ok with the staff. They are horrible evil monsters, that is what I call them. How can medical staff do what they do and be ok with themselves, to not only destroy the patient's life, but the families as well. It just does not make any sense to the average person. I just hope the staff that did this to this fantastic lady will be punished for devastating so many lives, not only Phyllis but all the rest of the lives they have devastated forever.
